Jay joined the Commercial Insurance team in 2005. Jay has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nichols College and is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). He is also a CT board member for the IIABA (Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America) “Big I.” When he isn’t at work Jay enjoys spending time with his wife Melissa and his two children Joshua and Emma. Jay is an avid runner and recently completed his 12th marathon. In the community Jay is on the Board of Directors for Northeast Placement Services and is the Road Race Committee Chair for Northeast Opportunities for Wellness’ “Lap the Lake” 5K road race. Jay enjoys working for Hilb Group New England for many reasons but most importantly because of the people he works with and the impact the agency has in the community. Jay strives to form a partnership with his clients. He wants to understand their business and the exposures that they have. He then puts together an insurance program that is priced competitively and protects their business.
